The Grapefruit Diet, an effective diet to lose weight
The  diet of the Grapefruit is one of the known ones like " monodieta ". This type of diet is based on the consumption mainly of a single food, in this case the grapefruit; although this fruit is not eaten exclusively.

This diet became famous in the 50s in Hollywood because it was the most popular diet among the stars . With this diet you can lose 5 kilos in a week . But it should not be longer than three days, because it is a diet very poor in nutrients that can cause damage to the body.

Based on taking care of the diet and carrying out balanced and healthy diets; We have decided to make two types of grapefruit diet, so you can choose the one that best suits your needs. In a first place quick diet of the grapefruit that is the most famous, at the same time that strict since they are three consecutive days with a low caloric intake and with grapefruit as the main protagonist.

And on the other hand, a more flexible version in which we will benefit from all the properties of grapefruit to lose weight, but we will do it in a more sustained and healthy way. Without putting our health at risk due to a low caloric intake.

Grapefruit Weekly Diet
This other variety of grapefruit diet  consists of making a basic diet , in which we consume over 1500 calories a day and consuming all kinds of products avoiding fats, fried foods, sweets and sauces. That is, a balanced diet with which we will combine the system of shocks. A very effective system to lose weight quickly.

To carry out this diet, we will easily make an impact with the express diet of grapefruit , three alternate days during a week, (this version becomes more bearable and is a more balanced diet to be able to experience the multiple benefits of grapefruit).

Here we leave you the weekly guideline of the grapefruit diet:

DAY 1

Breakfast : Coffee with semi-skimmed milk, a natural juice of orange or grapefruit and half a toast of bread (40 grams approx) with a piece of cheese from burgos, two slices of ham. We can replace the toast with four whole-wheat crackers or half a cup of whole grains.

Lunch : Two plums.

Food : Varied salad and grilled beef steak. An infusion

Snack : A skimmed yogurt.

Dinner : Salt sea bass with broccoli and an apple.



DAY 2

Breakfast : Half grapefruit accompanied by coffee or tea (without sugar).

Food : Half grapefruit with two boiled eggs and cucumber and tomato salad dressed with lemon or vinegar.

Snack : A toast of whole wheat bread with turkey ham and grapefruit juice.

Dinner : Half grapefruit with salad of lettuce adrezada with lemon and vinegar of apple and 150 gr of breast of turkey or chicken to the plate.


DAY 3

Breakfast : Coffee with semi-skimmed milk, a natural juice of orange or grapefruit and half a toast of bread (40 gr approx) with a piece of cheese from burgos, two slices of ham. We can replace the toast with four whole-wheat crackers or half a cup of whole grains.

Lunch : Half grapefruit and a skimmed yogurt.

Food : Baked chicken with vegetables and an apple.

Snack : An infusion and two crackers.

Dinner : Baked white fish with white garnished asparagus and an infusion.


DAY 4

Breakfast : Half grapefruit accompanied by coffee or tea (without sugar).

Food : Half grapefruit with two boiled eggs and cucumber and tomato salad dressed with lemon or vinegar.

Snack : A toast of whole wheat bread with turkey ham and grapefruit juice.

Dinner : Half grapefruit with salad of lettuce adrezada with lemon and vinegar of apple and 150 gr of breast of turkey or chicken to the plate.


DAY 5

Lunch : A piece of fruit to taste.

Food : A pasta dish with vegetables and chicken, prepared to taste without cream. An infusion

Snack : Half grapefruit and a piece of fresh cheese from Burgos skimmed.

Dinner : Scrambled eggs or tortilla and mushrooms sautéed.


DAY 6

Breakfast : Half grapefruit accompanied by coffee or tea (without sugar).

Food : Half grapefruit with two boiled eggs and cucumber and tomato salad dressed with lemon or vinegar.

Snack : A toast of whole wheat bread with turkey ham and grapefruit juice.

Dinner : Half grapefruit with salad of lettuce adrezada with lemon and vinegar of apple and 150 gr of breast of turkey or chicken to the plate.


DAY 7

Breakfast : Coffee with semi-skimmed milk, a natural juice of orange or grapefruit and half a toast of bread (40 gr approx) with a piece of cheese from burgos, two slices of ham. We can replace the toast with four whole-wheat crackers or half a cup of whole grains.

Lunch : Half grapefruit and two crackers.

Food : Quinoa sautéed with vegetables and a grilled turkey steak. An Apple

Snack : A whole-grain biscuit with two slices of York ham.

Dinner : Grilled fish with garnish vegetables, and a skimmed yogurt.
